About Me

A little about me. I am a father and a husband. My lovely wife Esther and my two daughters Olivia and Isabel have given me the best gift: Family. Olivia will enter the 8th grade this year and Isabel will be in the 6th. They are both amazing people. Better than me in every way. For that, I am proud. I can't take the credit, but there is a little of me in there.

My Everest Base Camp experience, fishing trips, and local adventures have been an incredible ride. But these daughters of ours have been getting it done at an early age! If you ski, come and see! In the trees and always fast. It is a blast to be with them where they are in their element. Both are comfortable on the hill in McCall and locally, they seem to be comfortable on the run. Quite literally and figuratively. They run the races and we run them around! Not just to the races, but also to basketball, volleyball, track, cross country, climbing, and those are just the last year!

Academically, both are doing well in the Boise Schools. They are both playing the piano and enjoying it (not always the practice). Olivia has played the flute for 3 years and Isabel has played the Cello for one. They both make the piano and their respective instruments look easy.

Esther has been working as an NP for 14 years. During Covid she went back to school and has a post-masters as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is now a Psychiatric NP and a Family NP. I have been working with her for a day a week for several years now and she really is the star of the show.

My experiences as a Family Nurse Practitioner have been overwhelmingly positive over the years. Now that I have hit the 23-year-mark as an NP, I can say that the relationships with patients and colleagues has been the most rewarding part of my career.

The girls still spend a lot of time outside. We were fortunate enough to find a place in McCall before Covid and we have spent many days on the ski hill, the lake, the trails, the beach, and most importantly, with each other. Even bad weather days are fun when you're in the mountains. Getting whooped by your daughters on the hill, beaten at Yahtzee, and the privilege of paying for dinner. We couldn't have planned it better.

Thankful to take my family along for the ride. Blue Sky Happy Day!
